University students and NSmen (Young Adults) are a growing part of the Grace Baptist Church family ever since the ministry began in 2009. As of January 2011, the Young Adult Ministry team has been pursuing:
Mission: To make disciples who follow Jesus in joy for the glory of God
Vision: A community where individuals are moving through the
cycle of Christian maturity
Our ministry is engaged in: Christian Education, Programs/Fellowship,
Discipleship and Training.
The Young Adults at GBC are active participants in the church’s Adult Bible Class (ABC) during the respective SS hours where we study the Scriptures together weekly with the rest of the GBC community. All are welcome to ABC on Sundays weekly!
The Young Adult Care Group (YACG) meets every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 7.30-9.30pm for a time of devotions, fellowship, prayer, fun and food! All NSmen and university students aged 19-25 are welcome to join us! Please contact Daniel Beh <email@example.com> or Pastor Oliver <firstname.lastname@example.org> for more details.
The Young Adults ministry team is committed to developing a vision for 2 Timothy 2:2 and discipleship. To this end, we believe in helping Christians grow in helping other Christians grow, especially in the NS and university years. If you would like to be discipled in a small group, or have an interest in this vision for discipleship, please contact Caleb Yap <email@example.com> or Pastor Oliver <firstname.lastname@example.org> for more details.
As our team of disciples grows in Christ, we conduct monthly training sessions, regular retreats, participate in prayer meetings, attend church camps and Bible conferences to study the Scriptures and learn how to minister effectively. In addition, we also partner with other ministries to collaborate and grow together. If you’re interested in being trained and getting involved as a laborer in the Young Adults ministry or our training events, please contact Caleb Yap <email@example.com> or Pastor Oliver <firstname.lastname@example.org> for more details.
