Jesus said in Mark 11:17 -And as he taught them, he said, "Is it not written: "'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations'....'"…these very words of Jesus, though spoken more than 2000 yrs ago are still applicable to us. GBC Prayer Ministry (PM) should therefore aim to be a “House of Prayer for all nations”.
Our goal is to be a people who care deeply for the things that God cares about. To this end the activities of the GBC PM are:
- to encourage every member to be a prayer warrior, individually, at home with the family and corporately in church;
- to help every member to improve their prayer life by emulating the prayer life of Jesus;
- to help every member to worship God through prayer
Recruitment of Intercessors
GBC PM has established a network of dedicated volunteers who can be counted upon to intercede faithfully for those who submit their prayer requests through the Prayer Watchman, or in person to our pastors/elders and ministry leaders. If you wish to volunteer to be part of this important service, please register with the church office. Kindly provide your name, the name of another church member or staff that knows you personally, email address and mobile number (optional if you want to receive SMS broadcasts).
Prayer Request
Those who are requesting prayer may:
- e-mail to our church staff : Chan Wing Cheong (cwc@gracebap.org.sg) and/or Pauline (pauline@gracebap.org.sg)
- drop your request(s) into the prayer box near the church office.
- Current Watchman members may visit our Watchman Prayer Update site to view present and past prayer updates as well as submit your own requests: www.yahoogroups.com/groups/watchman
For urgent prayer, you may contact our pastors/elders or the church office. Remember, prayer is Christ-centered - if it cannot be done through prayer it may not be worth doing at all.
